Our founder and CEO, Signe Simonsen, is an experienced speaker within ocean advocacy, sustainability and personal development. She “grew up” in the Danish military, where she first experienced the challenges of plastic pollution during her deployment to Iraq in 2005.
From there, her journey took her from the military to the world of endurance sports. She became the first Danish woman to run a marathon on every continent and has represented Denmark on four national teams in swimming, triathlon, military pentathlon and ice swimming.
Every presentation, keynote and beach cleanup is tailored to its audience, drawing on Signe’s personal journey and the development of the Race for Oceans movement.
